Creating a new project

Learn how to get started with a new project in stagewise.

Once you've set up your account, you are ready to create your first project. 🎊 To view your existing projects, visit your project overview. From here, you can create a project.

Project name and image

First you will have to choose a name for your project. This will likely be the name of your own existing product or the name of a customer that you have created a webpage for, e.g. ‚Blazing Reviews inc.‘.

Also you can upload a project-image or just let us create one for you.

Specify Version and URL

You will need to provide the url of the webpage or web app that you want to review. This has to be a valid public url.

You can also specify the version of the webpage to keep track of the rollouts you will eventually make.

Choose the way of integrating the companion

Decide on the desired method for integrating the companion. You can mainly differentiate between two methods: Installing the stagewise browser extension, or integrating a script tag for basic use without needing a browser extension.

TL;DR: Integrating via script will make the stagewise companion available for every visitor of your page (good for the review stage in agency development or gathering feedback of your users). Integrating via extension will only make the companion available for you and project members that have installed the extension(good for in-house issue-management on live-products).
